After reintegration as manager of D-Beschlag GmbH, Mr. Holger Schmidt founded in 2008 D-Leuchten. In doing so he bethought himself of his prior passion: light and lamps.

With his know-how on the lighting sector D-Leuchten specialized in most modern illuminants, the LEDs. Based on latest LED technology there have been developed high quality and optically appealing lighting solutions for the furniture industry. The assembly takes place in the factory in Luckenwalde near Berlin.

During ZOW 2013 in Bad Saluflen the first lighting collection celebrated its premiere and has been avidly received by the professional audience.
